Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Dishery collects, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using our website or making a booking with us, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

  • When you make a booking

  • When you reserve a table through our website via ResDiary, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the details of your booking (date, time, party size, and any dietary or special requirements you provide), and any other information you choose to share with us at the time of booking.

  • When you purchase a gift voucher

  • When you buy a gift voucher through our website, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Payment transactions are processed securely by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details on our systems.

  • When you opt in to marketing

  • If you choose to subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your name and email address for the purpose of sending you updates, offers, and news from Dishery.

  • When you enter a competition

  • If you enter a competition or giveaway run by Dishery (for example via Instagram), we may collect your name, Instagram handle, and any content you submit as part of your entry, such as a screenshot of a review.

  • When you visit our website
     

Like most websites, ours uses cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site. This may include your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This data is collected in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
 

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
 

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and manage your booking or reservation

  • Send you booking confirmations and reminders

  • Process gift voucher purchases and deliver voucher details to you

  • Respond to enquiries or requests you send us

  • Send you marketing communications where you have opted in to receive them

  • Administer competitions and notify winners

  • Improve our website and understand how visitors use it

We will only use your information for the purpose it was collected, or for a directly related purpose. We will not sell your personal information to third parties.
 

3. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

Opting out of marketing communications will not affect your ability to make bookings or receive transactional emails related to a reservation or purchase.

Where these platforms process your data on our behalf, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it appropriately and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
 

6. HOW WE STORE AND PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
 

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Our website is hosted on Wix, which provides industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption for data transmitted through the site.

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Booking and transaction records are generally retained for a period of up to seven years in line with standard business record-keeping requirements.

As part of a group of businesses under common ownership, Dishery may share your personal information with our affiliated venues and brands for group-wide marketing and operational purposes.
