Weekends are for getting through the to-do list. Others are for ignoring it completely.
That’s exactly where The Long Lunch Club comes in.
At Dishery, weekends are for shared plates, curated drinks, better playlists, and absolutely no reason to rush off anywhere. Every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am to 3pm, The Long Lunch Club is your excuse to settle in properly with your favourite people and do what a long lunch is meant to do: stretch out.
If you’ve been looking for a long lunch in Arrowtown that actually feels like one, this is it.
The kind of lunch that knows not to be brief
There’s a big difference between grabbing lunch and committing to one.
The Long Lunch Club is built for the second kind. The one where the table fills up with shared plates, the drinks keep coming at the right pace, and two hours disappears faster than anyone expected.
It’s social, a little indulgent, and exactly the sort of weekend ritual we think Arrowtown needed more of.
What’s included
For $99 per person, you’ll get two hours of The Long Lunch Club with:
a share-style menu
select drinks
a table built for staying put
This is one for groups, not grazers, so there’s a minimum of four people per table and the package applies to the full table.
In other words, round up the right people and come hungry.
Why it works so well at Dishery
Dishery was never built for a quick in-and-out.
It’s the kind of room that suits a second round, another plate for the table, and the sort of conversation that gets better once everyone’s settled in. Add a curated drinks list, a share-style menu, and a playlist doing its part in the background, and suddenly the whole thing starts to feel less like a booking and more like a standing weekend plan.
Which, frankly, is the point.
What to know before you book
The Long Lunch Club runs every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am to 3pm at Dishery.
To book, select Saturday or Sunday between 11:30am and 3pm for four people or more, then leave a note in your booking comments saying: “The Long Lunch Club”.
A few important details:
this is a strictly R18+ package
your 2-hour package begins at your confirmed booking time
one drink per person at a time, always
food is served for the full package slot, so come hungry
non-alcoholic options are available, with pricing remaining the same

If your ideal weekend includes slower starts, longer lunches, shared plates, and drinks that are worth settling in for, The Long Lunch Club is a very good habit to get into.
Round up the group, book the table, and let the afternoon do its thing.
